I really miss my mom. Though she passed away 7 years ago, I feel her presence now more than ever. I think its because she was such a powerful force-of-nature. Her presence was electric, her wit, clever. 

When mom was undergoing chemotherapy, it was me who was struggling. Her response, "Nicole a strong woman looks at a challenge straight in the eye and winks back." And that is precisely what we women do every day. We harness goddess strength and energy to conquer challenges and overcome obstacles. We persevere while wearing heels, juggling projects and smiling. Let's celebrate this maternal goddess energy this weekend and all year.

In keeping with this celebration, The Ivy Alexander Foundation will continue to donate proceeds from Ivy Alexander, NYC to organizations and companies that foster equity for women and girls. Strength comes in numbers ladies and we are here for it. 👏🏻 .
