    Last week, I flew to Ireland with my sister-in-law, Kristina to pick up our mother-in-law, Breeda to bring her home with us for the holidays. What an adventure! Holy cow. Dublin was quite damp and chilly but we bundled up and saw the sites and had a few pints of Guinness. Breeda was super game to try new places and walk around. No one could guess that she turns 92 in February.

    The only snafu came at the airport not because of any Covid issues, but a typographical error in her immigration form. Bad weather also forced us to stay another day before flying home. “Forced” may not be the right term. As can be seen, we made the best of it and now Breeda is safely in the states and reunited with family.

    I might add that we were able to use our Ivy Alexander hooks all across the beautiful city and many an onlooker was curious about them. New target market = Dublin!
